How far is it from where I live?

Ontario is where the studio is. Mansfield and Lexington are about five minutes, Shelby about ten, and Bellville and Plymouth about fifteen. There is nowhere in Richland County that is a long drive.

Can I book the same day?

Often, yes, and being this close it is worth asking. Online booking closes 12 hours before an appointment, so today's openings will not appear online. Call (419) 823-9256 or message us on Facebook and we will tell you what is free.

Should I come more than once?

A lot of Richland County families do, because the drive is short enough that they can. Around 15 to 20 weeks you can see the whole body and find out whether it is a boy or a girl. Between 26 and 32 weeks the face has filled out and looks like a person. Families who live an hour away usually have to choose one.

What does it cost?

Sessions run from $59 for a Quick Peek to $199 for Signature Memories, which bundles the full HD Live session, a Heartbeat Animal keepsake, video set to music, 8K enhancement, live streaming and a USB of everything. Thursdays are Bump Day at $89. Early gender DNA testing is $149, or $209 with a verification ultrasound. Everything is on the services page.

How many people can I bring?

Our viewing room comfortably seats 12 to 15 guests and we can bring in additional seating when you need more, across two 85-inch screens. Grandparents, siblings, friends — bring them. Local families often end up bringing more people than they first planned to.

What if the baby will not cooperate?

You come back within 14 days at no charge. Position is the one thing nobody can control, and from anywhere in Richland County a second trip is a minor inconvenience rather than a lost day.

Is this the same as the ultrasound my doctor does?

No. We are an elective, non-diagnostic studio — our sessions exist for bonding and keepsakes. We do not give medical advice, make diagnoses or interpret images, and we do not contact your provider. Please keep every appointment with your OB or midwife; this does not replace any of it.
